Inspired by a photograph I took of Scarborough Marsh, which is near where I live. This piece started as a watercolor and evolved into the fabric interpretation. It has all commercial fabrics and lots of thread painting for the marsh grasses, beach roses and small tree. It is stretched and mounted on an 1-3/4” box with the landscape design carried around the edges of the frame.
