I used a photo of branches hanging over the water taken in a park in San Francisco, which had wonderful shadows in it. The photo was almost abstract and the finished fabric piece has an abstract quality to it. Includes hand-painted, hand-dyed and commercial fabrics, thread painting, thread lace, machine quilted.
