Living in Maine, we have many opportunities to walk through snowy woods. The birches lend themselves to a snowy scene extremely well. I wanted to capture the feeling of walking in the woods on a wintry day (or watching from the window, if that’s your preference!), feeling the cold but also the calm that comes from being in the quiet woods. The cardinals add just a bit of color to brighten up your day!
